UVVG Arad actively participates in European and national projects for digitalization, social inclusion, professional training, and research.

University Projects

Each project contributes to the development of the academic community and the region. Below you will find a presentation of active and completed projects, along with access to the relevant public documents.

Project funded by European structural funds, aimed at the digital transformation of UVVG’s educational and research infrastructure. Academic management platforms are being modernized, online teaching tools are being introduced, and digital capabilities for research activities are being created. The final objective is an integrated university environment in which students, faculty, and administrative staff operate efficiently in digital format.

Project co-financed by the European Social Fund+ through the Education and Employment Programme 2021–2027. ProAct supports UVVG students in developing professional and entrepreneurial skills through counseling activities, career guidance, internships, and self-development tools. The project’s goal is to increase the employment rate of graduates and connect them early with the regional labor market.

A European-funded project targeting young people from the West and North-West regions — particularly from Arad, Maramureș, and Satu Mare counties — who face economic or social barriers in accessing university education. Through integrated support packages (counseling, scholarships, mentorship, social services), the project aims to increase the participation and graduation rate of vulnerable groups in higher education.

A project funded by European funds, dedicated to students from the Faculty of Pharmacy and the Faculty of Dentistry. It aims to strengthen practical training through internships in partner medical units, clinical simulation activities, and professional guidance sessions. The initiative contributes to reducing the gap between academic training and the real requirements of the healthcare system.

A regional-scale project with national funding, aiming to develop an integrated consortium for dual education in Maramureș County, through the construction and equipping of the Integrated Professional Campus. UVVG is part of this strategic partnership, which seeks to connect professional training with the needs of the local economy and create a replicable model for other regions.

Fundamental and applied research project, funded through national and international research programs, in the field of nanomedicine. NextNano4Cancer explores the development of next-generation nanotransporters capable of delivering therapeutic substances directly to the tumor level, with superior efficiency and reduced toxicity compared to conventional treatments. The research strengthens UVVG’s capacity in frontier areas of medical biotechnology.
