Multidisciplinary Doctoral School
Applied research. Real supervision. Measurable impact.
The Multidisciplinary Doctoral School of the “Vasile Goldiș” Western University of Arad organizes doctoral programs in three fundamental fields of life sciences: Medicine, Pharmacy, and Biology. It operates within IOSUD — Institution Organizing Doctoral University Studies — accredited in accordance with national legislation and ARACIS standards.
Doctoral students benefit from individualized supervision by a body of doctoral supervisors with internationally recognized expertise, access to proprietary research infrastructure, and active collaboration with partner universities across Europe. The doctoral thesis is developed over 3 years and completed through a public defense before a specialized committee.
The mission of the Doctoral School is to train independent researchers capable of contributing to the advancement of knowledge in their fields of specialization, publishing in internationally indexed journals, and transferring research results into medical and pharmaceutical practice.
