A STRONG, LONG-STANDING UNIVERSITY PRESENCE IN SEBIȘ

The Sebiș Extension is part of the academic network of the “Vasile Goldiș” Western University of Arad, alongside the main campus and the extensions in Marghita, Zalău, Satu Mare, and Baia Mare. Established in 1993, it brought university studies closer to young people in the Crișul Alb area, so they would not have to leave the county to pursue serious studies.

Over more than three decades, the extension has continuously adapted to local realities. Today, the offer covers the field of economics, where UVVG graduates have long been present in companies, public administration, and the local entrepreneurial environment. Students in Sebiș enjoy the same rights as any UVVG student in Arad — including Erasmus+ mobility and access to all university services.
