Bachelor’s
Required documents
- Birth certificate
- Identity card
- Marriage certificate or other document certifying the name change (if applicable)
- Baccalaureate diploma or equivalent. Class of 2025–2026: the graduation certificate is also accepted.
- Transcript accompanying the baccalaureate diploma
- Proof of payment of the application fee
- Medical certificate stating “clinically healthy” — issued by the family doctor, certifying that the person does not suffer from contagious diseases or conditions incompatible with the future profession
- Psychological assessment issued by any authorised psychology practice
- One digital photo for candidate identification
Additional documents (if applicable)
- Certificate proving you come from the social protection system — for places reserved for this category or exemption from the application fee
- Parents’ death certificates — for candidates orphaned of one or both parents, who have not exceeded 26 years of age
- Disability classification decision — for candidates exempt from the application fee
- Olympiad award diploma / certificate — for graduates who may be admitted without an entrance exam
Master’s degree
Required documents

- Bachelor’s degree diploma or equivalent — copy. Class of 2026: a certificate showing the bachelor’s average grade and the grades from the years of study is accepted.
- Transcript or Diploma Supplement for the bachelor’s degree

- Medical certificate type M.S. 18.1.1 and psychological assessment
- One digital photo for candidate identification
Note: Romanian citizens with a bachelor’s degree obtained in another country must submit the study recognition certificate issued by CNRED. If you have not obtained it, the university will send the documents to CNRED on your behalf.
EU / EEA / Swiss Confederation citizens
Bachelor’s
Required documents
- Identity document — original and notarised translation into Romanian
- Copy of the document proving permanent residence abroad
- Copy of passport — valid for at least 6 months
- Birth certificate and notarised translation into Romanian
- Application for study recognition — CNRED
- Baccalaureate diploma or equivalent, authenticated by the competent authorities in the issuing country
- Notarised translation with apostille of the baccalaureate diploma
- Certificate confirming passing the baccalaureate exam for the current class (copy and notarised translation into Romanian)
- Transcript for high school years or equivalent documents
- Certificate of completion of the Romanian language preparatory year or language proficiency certificate for the language of the study programme
- Medical certificate — certifies that the person does not suffer from contagious diseases or conditions incompatible with the future profession
- Psychological assessment
- Digital photo
- Proof of payment of the application fee
- Marriage certificate (if applicable)
Master’s degree
Required documents
- Copy of identity document or passport and notarised translation
- Baccalaureate diploma and bachelor’s degree diploma — copy / notarised translation into Romanian, with The Hague Apostille (for signatory countries), accompanied by the corresponding transcripts
- Study recognition certificate — issued by the specialised directorate within the Romanian Ministry of Education and Research
- Bachelor’s transcript — copy / notarised translation
- Language proficiency certificate — for studies conducted in Romanian
- Medical certificate and psychological assessment
- One digital photo
Note: If you have not obtained the recognition certificate, the university will send the documents to CNRED on your behalf (with the exceptions provided by CNRED).
Third-country citizens (Non-EU)
Translation notice: Documents issued in a language other than Romanian, English, or French must be translated and notarised by the competent authorities in the issuing country. Original documents in Romanian, English, or French require only a notarised copy.
Bachelor’s
Identity and study documents
- Copies of passport pages 1–4 — valid for at least 6 months after submitting the file. Copies of identity cards are not accepted.
- Birth certificate — copy and authenticated notarised translation
- Baccalaureate diploma or equivalent — authenticated by the authorities in the issuing country, copy and notarised translation into Romanian
- Baccalaureate transcript — copy and notarised translation (if applicable)
- High school transcripts, grades IX–XII / XIII — copy and notarised translation
- Europass CV or equivalent — drafted in the chosen language of instruction
Medical, language, and administrative documents
- Medical certificate — issued in Romanian, English, or French, within the last 6 months, signed, stamped, and sealed by the issuing unit. It must include:
- General clinical examination
- Ophthalmological examination
- ENT examination
- Neurological examination
- Psychiatric examination
- Information on any chronic conditions
- Psychological certificate — issued within the last 6 months, signed and stamped by the psychologist. Mandatory for Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy.
- Language proficiency certificate — minimum level B1
- Letter of intent — drafted in the language of the study programme
- Letter of recommendation — from a teacher or volunteer coordinator, in the language of the study programme
- Application for issuing the Letter of Acceptance to Studies — form available on the university website, in the International Candidates Admissions section. Attach a passport-style photo (2.5 × 3.5 cm) before scanning.
- Proof of payment of the file processing fee — non-refundable
- Other relevant documents for selection (if applicable)
Master’s — all candidate categories
In addition to the common identity and medical documents, master’s candidates also submit:
Romanian citizens

- CNRED certificate — if the bachelor’s degree was obtained in another country
EU / EEA / Swiss Confederation citizens
- Bachelor’s degree diploma — copy / notarised translation, with The Hague Apostille and the corresponding transcript
- Study recognition certificate — Romanian Ministry of Education and Research
- Language proficiency certificate — for studies in Romanian
DPPD — Department for Teacher Training
Level I
- Personal identification documents — copy and proof of name change (if applicable)
- Student certificate — from the specialised institution, if it differs from the DPPD institution (for students)
- Copy of bachelor’s degree diploma — certified “true to the original” by the organising institution (for graduates)
- Transcript / Diploma Supplement for the bachelor’s degree — copy certified “true to the original”
- CNRED equivalence / recognition certificate — for bachelor’s degrees obtained abroad by Romanian, EU, EEA, or Swiss citizens
- Letter of acceptance to studies — for third-country (Non-EU) citizens following DPPD in a postgraduate format
- B1-level Romanian language proficiency certificate — mandatory for candidates who do not hold study documents issued by institutions in Romania or taught in Romanian
- Medical certificate — certifies the absence of contagious diseases or conditions incompatible with the teaching profession
Level II
The Level II file contains all documents from Level I, plus:
- Proof of completion of DPPD Level I or proof of meeting the Level I psychopedagogical training requirement
- Master’s degree diploma in the field of the bachelor’s degree, accompanied by the transcript / diploma supplement for the master’s degree — both as copies certified “true to the original” by the organising institution
- CNRED equivalence / recognition certificate for master’s degrees obtained abroad — for Romanian, EU, EEA, or Swiss citizens
Note for graduates with training completed in the EU / EEA / Switzerland: Enrolment in Level II is conditional upon presenting the recognition document issued by the Ministry of Education and Research, upon the proposal of the specialised recognition committee.
Note for students already enrolled in DPPD: They must provide proof of language competencies by the date of registration for the graduation exam, for each certification level. Testing is carried out at one of the accredited institutions that organise the Romanian language preparatory course.
