MISSION

Entrepreneurship, partnerships and professional integration

The Entrepreneurship Center is a department within “Vasile Goldiș” Western University of Arad (UVVG Arad), without legal personality, established in October 2015, which ensures the sustainability of the entrepreneurial activities implemented by the university. The development and promotion of partnerships with the business environment and the local community, aimed at increasing economic competitiveness, supporting and developing the smart specialization of socio-economic sectors, as well as the optimal integration, at high professional standards, of young graduates into the labor market in Romania and the European area — represent the mission of the Entrepreneurship Center.
The department’s fundamental mission is aligned with the University’s mission to strengthen the exchange of values through international cooperation.

COLLABORATION OFFER – PARTNERSHIP – SERVICES

THE ENTREPRENEURSHIP CENTER within “Vasile Goldiș” Western University of Arad presents its partnership offer on the following topics:

  • Joint collaboration on entrepreneurial activities through consulting/support actions, research, development and innovation, as well as continuous training and professional development in the field of entrepreneurship.

  • Support and assistance for organizing professional training courses, conducting studies/research, events, and providing assistance/consulting in the field of entrepreneurship.

  • Formation of working teams for the implementation of “entrepreneurial offers” and the provision of services in the field on a contractual basis.

  • Joint collaboration on actions, conferences, symposiums, workshops, exhibitions, demonstrations, fairs, and other events on entrepreneurship-related topics.

  • Business meetings / partnerships.

  • Information and training events / sessions, such as seminars, courses, conferences, forums, etc.

  • Organization of practical training activities for students enrolled at “Vasile Goldiș” Western University of Arad, in accordance with the legal provisions in force.

  • Analyses and proposals for improvement in various economic fields, including sustainability elements such as environmental protection, workforce development, etc.

  • Negotiations with potential partners.

  • Mobilization and participation of interested companies.

  • Design of new products and services.

  • Granting the company the right to install and display promotional materials within the University’s faculties and during public events organized by these faculties.

  • Joint support and assistance for participation in scientific events, such as symposiums, conferences, scientific sessions, workshops, exhibitions, demonstrations, and fairs, as well as the implementation of practical actions.

  • Company, service and/or product presentations, etc.; support and assistance for information and training events, such as seminars, courses, conferences, forums, etc.; support and logistical assistance required for organizing business events, including conference rooms equipped with projection and sound systems, etc.; event evaluation through evaluation questionnaires, interviews, reports, press files, etc.

  • Introduction to Entrepreneurship.

  • Introduction to Business Administration.

  • Introduction to Financial and Accounting Management.

  • Introduction to Audit and Accounting Expertise.

  • Introduction to Marketing.

  • Customer communication, face-to-face, call center, etc.

  • Logistics and processes, modern business, production logistics.

  • Innovation and creativity – methods and characteristics.

  • International Entrepreneurship in the European Union and Romania.

  • Participation of specialists/practitioners from the company to support/present short course modules or practical applications within various specializations of the faculties of “Vasile Goldiș” Western University of Arad.

  • The possibility of educating/training employees of partner companies; dual education/specialization in Economic Sciences – complementary sciences, such as medicine, computer science, forestry, and legal sciences.

  • Providing assistance for the professional integration of graduates, interviews, and informing them about job offers within the company; analysis and identification of feasible scientific research projects; development and implementation of projects with non-reimbursable funding; information and training events, such as seminars, courses, conferences, forums, etc.; miscellaneous.
