A STABLE UNIVERSITY PRESENCE IN MARGHITA

The Marghita University Extension is part of the academic network of “Vasile Goldiș” Western University of Arad, alongside the central campus and extensions in Sebiș, Zalău, Satu Mare, and Baia Mare. Established in 1999, it brought university studies closer to young people in the area, so they would not have to leave their city to pursue serious studies.

Over more than two decades, the extension has continuously adapted to the realities of the local labor market. Today, the offerings cover fields in the economic sphere, where UVVG graduates have long been present in companies, administration, and the entrepreneurial environment of the region. Collaboration with local employers ensures that students find internships and jobs in the community where they live.

The extension operates at Str. Eroilor no. 9, Marghita, with its own teaching staff, with programs accredited or provisionally authorized by ARACIS, and with the same rights for students as in any UVVG campus in Arad — including Erasmus+ mobility and access to all university services.
