Why choose to study Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapies?

The Master’s program in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapies prepares you to work where psychology matters most: with people experiencing real difficulties — anxiety, depression, trauma, identity crises. You don’t just study theories. You learn to evaluate, diagnose, and intervene — with validated tools, under specialized supervision.

The training follows the researcher-practitioner model: you combine rigorous knowledge of specialized literature with its direct application in clinical contexts. At the end of the two years, you will know how to perform psychological assessment and diagnosis, develop intervention programs, and conduct research aimed at mental health.

Access to individual supervision and practice in partner institutions — hospitals, private practices, mental health centers — is an integral part of the program, not a peripheral option.

Graduates of this program know how to do two things simultaneously: intervene effectively with a client in a private practice and understand what international literature says about that specific case. This dual competence is what employers in both the private and public clinical systems demand.

The education system in Satu Mare County — as throughout Romania — needs people who know how to lead, not just teach. The Master’s program in Educational Management offers you exactly this training: from the daily management of a school to the strategic planning of an educational program.

Why choose to study this specialization at UVVG?

  • Small groups — real individual supervision, not in anonymous groups of dozens of master’s students

  • Clinical practice in partner institutions in Arad — hospitals, private practices, and mental health centers

  • ARACIS accredited program — diploma recognized by the Romanian College of Psychologists for the specialization level

  • Training through the researcher-practitioner model — you produce knowledge and apply it simultaneously

  • Faculty with active clinical practice — they teach from what they do, not just from what they know

  • Access to Erasmus+ mobilities — training and exchange of experience in partner European universities

  • Natural continuation after a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology — the same academic environment, the same relationship with professors
