Why choose to study Forestry Management and Marketing?

The Master’s program in Forestry Management and Marketing prepares you to lead and leverage forest resources under market conditions. You will learn to manage forest funds, develop sustainable management strategies, and apply specific marketing tools for the timber industry and forest products.

The program transitions from executive competencies acquired during the Bachelor’s degree — harvesting, improvement, topometry — to conceptual and leadership competencies: developing strategies, complex projects, programs, and regulations. The Master’s program expands the knowledge system from the Bachelor’s degree and applies it at a decision-making level — so that graduates can formulate forest policies, manage complex ecosystems, and lead organizations in the forestry sector with an integrated vision of the environment and economy. You will learn to interpret data using statistical and IT tools and to hold decision-making positions in forest administration.

Graduation opens the path to a PhD in Forestry and to leadership positions in forest administration, timber exploitation and processing companies, research institutions, or international environmental structures.
