Why choose to study Local Police?

Local police is not only about public order. It means understanding how a city’s administration works, what rights citizens have, how the law is applied on the ground, and how you collaborate with all state institutions to solve real problems. The Local Police programme at UVVG Arad trains you to do exactly that—concretely and practically, with access to specialists in public administration and public order.

The programme is organised as full-time study over 3 years, 6 semesters, and 180 ECTS credits. Upon graduation, you obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Administrative Sciences. The curriculum combines legal disciplines—administrative law, constitutional law, criminal law—with subjects specific to public administration and public order, complemented by modules in communication and applied information technologies.

The syllabus is designed in accordance with the CNC, RNCIS, and ARACIS standards and reflects the concrete requirements of employers in the public sector. The study plan includes internships in local administration institutions and local police structures in Arad and the region.
