Why choose to study Pedagogy of Primary and Preschool Education?

Being a primary school teacher does not mean simply delivering information. It means shaping children—nurturing their curiosity, building their confidence, helping them become good pupils and, ultimately, good people. The Primary Education Pedagogy programme at UVVG Zalău prepares you to do exactly that, with solid training both in the lecture hall and in front of the class.

Over the three years of study, you will combine core subjects in child psychology, pedagogy and didactics with specialised subjects—teaching methodology for Romanian language, mathematics, sciences and arts in primary education—and teaching practice placements in partner schools in Zalău. The curriculum is developed in accordance with ARACIS standards and includes compulsory, optional and elective courses.

Upon graduation, you are qualified to work in the public or private primary education system, as a tenured or substitute teacher, or to continue your studies with the Educational Management master’s programme within the same faculty.
