Why choose to study Physical Education and Sport?

Physical education is not just about sport. It means knowing how to shape people—how to motivate them, assess them, and help them push beyond their limits. The Physical Education and Sport programme at UVVG Arad prepares you to do exactly that, with solid training both in the classroom and on the field.

Over the three years of study, you will combine core subjects in anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics with specialised practical disciplines—athletics, gymnastics, team sports, swimming, winter sports—and with the methodology of teaching physical education in schools. The curriculum is developed in accordance with ARACIS standards and includes compulsory, optional, and elective courses.

Upon graduation, you are qualified to work in the education system, in sports clubs, in tourism, and in mass sport activities. You can continue with a master’s programme to deepen your expertise in research or sports management.
