Presentation
The Board of Directors carries out its activity in accordance with the provisions of the National Education Law no. 1/2011, with the subsequent modifications and completions, of the Charter of the “Vasile Goldiş” Western University of Arad, respectively according to its own internal regulations.
The Board of Directors ensures the operative management of the University, having exclusive decision-making powers regarding the University’s patrimony, with all its related rights, as well as organizational, regulatory, economic-financial, training and resource allocation competencies, in order to fulfill the mission assumed by University.
The Board of Directors consists of 11-15 members, appointed by the “Vasile Goldiş” University Foundation from Arad, as founder of the University, under the conditions provided by art. 211 (7) of the National Education Law no. 1/2011, with subsequent amendments and completions.
Other persons may also participate in the works of the Board of Directors, according to the provisions of the UVVG Charter, as well as on the basis of an invitation addressed by the Chairman of the Board.
