The principal purpose of the journal is to publish scholarly work in the Economic Sciences, promoting relevant and insightful research in all related fields, within a sound methodological framework. In this journal, the Editorial Board wants to provide high quality articles in the economics field. However, the objective regarding publishing the original contribution in the Economic Sciences filed does not infrige the interdiscipinary, multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary approaches of the complex economic phenonemons and their connections. In this sense, many articles provide a strong enactment of law regarding the application and ediction in the commercial law, civil law and tax law. The research published in the Journal is used to demonstrate the academic medium, students and specialist as the ways in solving different problems tackled by the different articles and authors. The econometric tehcniques and modelling relationship demonstrates the usefullnes of diferent techniques in the solution of the different problems. Part of the articles published in this Journal are an impoving path of the articles sustained at the different conferences organized by the University were different specialist gathered and debated some high relevant and important topics. The results of the research are directed also to some practical organizations in order to enhace the practical usage of the economical techniques. Another part of the article are derived from different partial of final results of several research projects, fact that enhace a higher scientifical relevance. Finally, by using a specific structure of the article, meaning introduction, literature review, methodology, main finding results, discussion and conclusion enhace the understandings of the different research methods used in economic theory and practice in order to evaluate and assess more accurate the soundness of the final results of the research.

THE PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION AND SOCIAL POLICIES REVIEW,is a quarterly professional journal published by Vasile Goldiş Western University of Arad, Romania. Its purposes are to advance knowledge and stimulate new ideas in the field of public administration and social policies. The Public Administration and Social Policies Review publishes innovative, rigorous papers that critically examines topics in public administration and social policies theory; explores the intersection of public administration, social policies and broader economic, cultural, political and historical issues; develops challenging, thoughts-provoking normative, ethical and philosophical arguments about the field. The journal especially encourages theoretical and empirical studies, interdisciplinary perspectives and critical examination of the possibility of transcending the limits of existing public administration and social policies theory and practice.

The journal Studia Universitatis “Vasile Goldis”, Seria Stiintele Vietii was first published in 1999, with an annual volume and supplement starting with 2005. In the present, the journal is a B+ category journal according with the CNCSIS standards (code 820).
Year after year, the journal has improved it’s scientific content, by improving it’s quality standards, and also the standards regarding the esthetics of the journal, accordingly with the international standards. The journal has a national and international visibility by the publication of it’s electronic version on the website www.studiauniversitatis.ro and due to the fact that the journal is included in an exchange programm between national and international universities (Babes-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania; University of Sciences, Lille, France; University of Tubingen, Germany and other universities from Serbia, Hungary, Ukraine).

Thus, starting with the 13th volume in 2003, the journal has modified it’s cover and interior look, entering in competition with international journals. The articles are arranged on 2 columns, the text being entirely in english. The references and quotations are according with the international standards.

The themes that the journal is focused on are matters of fundamental and applied research: pedology, geology, geography, flora and vegetation, fauna, ecology and environment protection, plant anatomy and physiology, human and animal anatomy and physiology, cell and molecular biology, biotechnologies. The journal has until now 18 scientific reviewers, experts in the thematics of the journal, and that are reknown from romanian and international universities: Budapest (Hungary), Debrecen (Hungary), Novi Sad (Serbia and Montenegro) and Tubingen (Germany). These specialists can assure a full scientific expertise by appliying the rigurous peer-review proces.

We consider that our journal has an important role in the scientific community, by imposing it’s standards even from the first volumes, being nationaly and internationaly appreciated.

The journal has a multi-domain character, published articles are being addressed to all the specialists involved in the domains of physycal education and rehabilitation (physicians, physical therapists, social assistants, psychologists, nurses, occupational therapists), to students, master students and PhD students, and also to general public.

In 2001, within the Faculty of Legal Sciences of “Vasile Goldiş” Western University from Arad, a biannual legal journal, named “Studii Juridice” (Legal Studies) made its appearance, published at Cluj-Napoca, at the prestigious Cordial Lex Publishing House (ISSN. 1582-5442).

Today after a period absence of about seven years, the journal returns in force, continuing the scientific demarche began in 2001, under a new denomination – Journal of Legal Studies -, with a new format, under the guidance the Center of Studies and Research – European Dimensions of the Romanian Law (C.S.R.E.D.R.L.) within the Faculty of Legal Sciences of “Vasile Goldiş” Western University from Arad, with a new Editorial Board, a new Scientific Board and with prestigious national and international reviewers.

But we also thank all those whom supported and whom beared a hand to the comming-back of our journal, to the members of the Editorial Board, and especially to the prestigious members who accepted to be a part of Scientific Board of the Journal.
