Why study Nursing?

The General Medical Assistance study program offers you a professional qualification that prepares you to act where people’s health needs your presence — in hospitals, in the community, in family physician offices.

You will acquire the competence to identify care needs, to provide individualized health care, and to administer treatments according to medical prescriptions. Beyond the clinical act itself, the program trains you as a promoter of public health — capable of developing health education strategies and providing community care services based on your own professional competencies.

The theoretical and practical training takes into account the role that the general medical assistant plays in the health system: understanding the influences that lifestyle has on care needs, respect for the patient, and the adoption of appropriate ethical, cultural, and professional standards.

The General Medical Assistance study program offers you a professional qualification that prepares you to act where people’s health needs real human presence — in hospitals, in the community, in family physician offices.
